Observations

  • It was a steep descent from Jiufen to the coast. My rear wheel got excessively hot, and it caused a flat.
  • There was lots of traffic on coastal Highway 2.
  • After Fulong, there were quite a few segregated cycle paths, and cycling was not affected by the traffic so much.
  • We came across a rider with six parrots on his handlebars.
